2112 Saldon is a sustainable label founded by designer Padma Saldon in Leh, Ladakh. Rooted in local traditions, the brand reimagines nambu – a handspun, handwoven Ladakhi wool – using natural dyes like walnut, indigo, and high-altitude plants.
Padma’s designs tell stories of Ladakhi life and landscape, blending traditional silhouettes with a contemporary aesthetic. Her debut collection at Lakmé Fashion Week brought heritage-inspired jackets, dresses, and patchwork to the national stage.
Working closely with local artisans, 2112 Saldon upholds mindful, ethical production while reconnecting younger generations to Ladakh’s cultural identity through modern craft. Her aesthetic merges tradition with modernity – architectural Khampa jackets, patchworks inspired by mountains, and motifs drawn from kitchens and monasteries – all elevating Ladakh’s craft legacy into slow-fashion luxury.

パドマによるデザインは単なる衣服ではなく、身につける物語です。2024年10月に開かれたLakmé Fashion Week X FDCI（GenNextプログラム）にてデビューした「メモワール・オブ・リユル」コレクションは、祖母の衣装から着想を得たジャケットやドレス、パッチワークが注目を集めました。
チーム2112 Saldonは、ラダックのアイデンティティを守ることに力を注ぎ、地域の職人やコミュニティと協力して、衣服やテキスタイルを制作しています。建築から着想を得たカンプジャケット、山岳モチーフのパッチワーク、厨房や寺院に見られるモチーフを応用し、スローファッションなラグジュアリーとしてラダックのクラフト遺産を昇華させています。
